How about a contest, with the winner receiving an all expenses paid week in sunny Florida....or maybe just a t-shirt.

I guess the person who designed the logo would get a free club t-shirt since its their design! =)

Good Ideas! I personally like COOPERations design. However I don't care for the colors used. Maybe each local chapter could have a different color?
Thanks for all of your hard work guys!
Kind Regards,
Ron

Let's decide which site to post at. I don't have time to keep track of forums on 3 different sites! My vote goes to MCO, in the SouthEast forum.

I don't care one way or another for selecting a single forum to post on. Realize that there are people that aren't as connected as we are that won't know unless we post everywhere. Once the club is esablished, I guess there will be an official club site and there won't be any doubt.

Unfortunately color variation gets expensive, COOPERation informed me that it typically costs $10 to change screens to have different color prints. I think we should start off with just black or white prints on whatever color shirt you prefer. I could have a tan shirt with a black logo. Holly could have a red shirt with a white logo. Vince could have a grey shirt with a white logo. Etc.

one last thing, posting images on here is kind of a pain in the neck. If you have a logo idea email it to me, and I'll put it up on my rather primitive web site http://www.geocities.com/unfpartykid/logo is where they'll be.

How's this?

I stuck with a one color logo so printing costs would be minimal, but is you'd like to see a 2 color option, I can do that too.

so does everyone want the club to be Sunshine State MINI Club instead of Sunshine State MINIs? Is there even enough people out there that are willing to make this club happen?

It'd be helpful to know:

--Pixel size?
--# colors?
--dpi?
--Price?
--required words?
--required images?
--required icons/symbols?
--required colors?

the state of florida
a sun
a mini
a logo that looks like a mini logo

OK, cool.

Dots Per Inch aka Pixels Per Inch (PPI). People who make web graphics uses 72 dpi to limit file size but also make for the best presentation on a monitor. On a good printer you can get 1200 dpi. So a 600x600 would by .5" x .5" printed out.

>>--Price?
>>$5 for stickers $15 for shirts I believe would be the price LIMIT, but I don't think we've gone that far..

WOW!

Whichever you want. Please specify.

OK, so you're saying designer's choice?

>>--required icons/symbols?
>>nothing required

Cool. Just makes it easier.

>>--required colors?
>> nothing required

Cool. Again makes it easier (or harder depending upon your point of view)

I was thinking more like 1' x 1' as a printable size (well if that were the size of a graphic on the back of a T-shirt)

I figured we'd just get ideas, then the logo selected could be changed to suit whatever it would be used on...

Royalties? How about instead of a membership fee, and the money will go back into the club. I figure, the more you are involved with the club, the more you'll invest into the club, I am working on getting endorsements from Downton MINI in Orlando, and Tom Bush in Jacksonville. I want to talk to the folks at RSpeed to see if I can come up with a plan to get discounts for donating members.
Once the club is established (50-100 people?) the donating members will become charter members, and a regular membership fee would start.

>>>>Sunshine State MINIs

A sun rising behind a MINI and Sunshine State MINIs written on it somwhere!
OR whatever you like. The whole concept is simply in the works.

I'm merely putting in my .02 and at my own pace get the club going. If anyone wants to help me with things, email me at Electrc109@lycos.com as David mentioned before, we'l need bylaws, to come up with officers, decide on funding, endorsements, advertisements, etc. I am going to really try make this into something big, because I feel like it could happen.

I like the above design the best so far. Cooperation's is cool, but I think we should stay away from any logos with images of the MINI. The reason being, they are already releasing a convertible next year, with more body designs on the drawing board.

I like the idea, but I think a little refining would help. We can talk about it on Saturday...

Hey all, I have a submission for the logo. One color, one black and white. I can modify to add "Club" if that's what we end up using in the end.

Hey Synch!! Welcome to MCO! I love your pic at the bottom...hehe.
We missed you at the meet yesterday, but your idea has all the elements we discussed for a logo...pretty sweet.
