I paid $21.7K for my '04 MCS back in October '03 and the car was around $22.9K out the door after all was said and done.


I can't see myself paying over $25K for a new MINI, but I guess the extra $5K for the ragtop are truly worth it.

If I were given the choice, I think I will go back again to a lightly optioned hardtop MCS and add the JCW kit for roughly the same $$$ as a Cooper convertible.

The big problem Clo is most of us use the board for all the things that happen in the local areas. Many of the people don’t login on NAM to find out about the Friday night get togethers and local drives.

The SSMs board is missed dearly.

Clo... ain't no THINK about it. McChili has forums READY TO GO, and if SSM does not come back, she is ready to launch them. We'd all rather see SSM come back, since we all know the site & there is so much history there, but if & when we're ready to use an alternative board, we can have one at the drop of a hat.

I have had a server ready to go for several weeks. I'm just waiting for Andy to give me access to copy over the forum database. I own the sunshineminis.org domain name and could start a new forum at any time. But of course, we want to bring over all the users and history.

I think the Tower Shoppes meet is every Friday. There are usually at least a few MINIs there.

David, School starts back up Monday, so I've been trying to prepare for that...and still working my old job (office mgr.) in the meantime. I'm so glad you tossed the Xbox and got a MINI...and a covert at that!

Jeru, Tower shoppes is every Friday night. I was a regular but haven't had time to go. I can't go tomorrow...company party If you go, look for MINIs in the last row of the show in front of Old Navy. That is where I normally park with other MINIs and BMWs.

 

Amiee are you going to make the Dragon this year? You've been so busy.

Ditto... I met an IB/W 02 MC owner named Elle at the dogpark, told her about the great MINI community, the rides and rallies, gave her a card, and then told her the site was down
