How many rooms will we need? I don't mind getting them to hold rooms, unless we all want to just get our rooms on our own...

 

I'm in for one! I'll miss the park but I would like to head out to Islands of Adventure with you guys.

 

The magic number is 10 for holding rooms... However, the best rate the group booking department can give us is $69.!

I did find online that we can book individually at the "21day advance" rate for $49. so that is definitely a better bet... however, this rate does not include 11.5% tax... and there's the fine print: "ADVANCE PURCHASE RESERVATIONS ARE FINAL AND REQUIRE FULLPREPAYMENT FOR THE ENTIRE STAY AND CANNOT BE REFUNDED CANCELLED OR CHANGED. YOUR CREDIT CARD IS CHARGED BETWEEN TIME OF BOOKING AND DAY OF ARRIVAL FOR THE ENTIRE STAY REGARDLESS OF WHETHER OR NOT THE RESERVATION IS USED"

So if you're sure you'll be there, book at the $49 rate! You can do that by clicking the link in Aimee's first post (or THIS LINK) then putting in the information (August 2nd, 1 night, etc. and choosing 21day advance on the drop down menu... it should also automatically come up if you leave it as "Best available"...

So it seems, we're on our own! Book your rooms by the end of next week(ish) to get that rate... the guy I spoke with didn't seem concerned about availability but then again... this is summer vacation in Orlando so book soon!

Hey everyone!!! We are still on the road on vacation. Currently we are in southern Penn on our way to the caverns in Virginia. I should be home next week 7/6...So far we have traveled over 3300 miles in just under three weeks. I am in for a Orlando trip. Is it still open?? And are there rooms still open?? I'll check back when I get home. Aimee or Cathy would you hold a room for me if you can??? Thanks. Bruce

NOPE, it wasn't his baby (Roxanne) he was driving. They were in the SUV!!!!!!!!!!
