A longstanding tradition, MG's on the Green, is set for September 27 in Davidson, NC. Originally held on the town green, they outgrew that location a couple of years ago.
The show moved to the "lake campus" of Davidson College, off Langtree Rd., which crosses I-77 south of exit 33.
I think they had nearly 200 cars last year.
I'm assuming new Mini's are welcome, but I'll dig for a phone number to confirm.

Directions:

from the south: I77 N to exit 30. R at end of ramp. L at T onto NC 115 N. Go about two miles, L on Langtree. Cross over I77. R at Lake Campus sign.

from the north: I77 S to exit 33. Exit W on Williamson. L at first TL. R at stop onto Langtree. R at Lake Campus signs.

Show hours are 10am to 4pm rain or shine. Pre-registration is encouraged.

Admission is free (the college may charge a parking fee of $5 per car), donations to support the event are encouraged.

They will have show awards, dash plaques, raffles, auctions, parts vendors and refreshments.

 

This sounds interesting, too. It's a shame that it's conflicting with the Flat Rock show on the same day.
