Hey, Greer is a BIG town. We do have more ice cream places just a stones throw away from where Dillards is that are still open.

I think that I have most of my fires put out and should be able to attend the next Social - Nov 5th, right?
However, I will have to drive my truck.
See everyone soon!

Put some bonnet stripes on it and go as a counterfeit MINI!!
(
I'm guilty of doing it.. Showed up in my truck at the Beacon in Spartanburg during a MINI social. I was hauling stuff back from Cincinnati .)

Going in a truck to the
Beacon would be one way of not attracting the wrong attention.
I've been there with
wbarnhill in our MINI's and all they kept saying was "You got some pruddy teeth"
.

Yeah, it's a test subject as of now. After coming back from CO, I noticed my "rattle" was getting worse.
So, some diagnostics were in order.
Long story short, I found was the waterpump had play in it. ( kinda common issue )
The front of the block/trans housing was "wet" with oil where the SC meets the WP. Not a good situation.
So, rather than keep driving it and risk a failed pump "in the field", I decided to park it.
I'm currently saving money to get a clutch and maybe some other bits. Do it while it's down, ya know?
I could put some stripes on it - but i'll prob just park in the farthest spot away.
Anyway, hope to see you all soon.
