Ok, you gotta deal! Or is e-mail better than a CD? I gotta get the film developed, which will take a couple of days. I get a CD burned at the same time.. I went through 1 roll of 24 pics, and started a second one. I'll see if I can finish that one quick and I'll include pictures from that one, too. Donna still has this look on her face:

Looks like I'm the last one home.....again! Had a great time seeing the faces I knew already and meeting up with some new ones.

Speaking of pics, why don't one of the enterprising souls in the club gather copies of all the pics taken by everyone and put together a best of cd. It'd be a good way to start a club archives.

Volunteers??

If everyone will get me there pics electronically I will put together a CD. If you have pics from any of the events this year I can put them on the same CD.

Happy Carolina Motoring...

PS:
Is the above a good tag line for the club?

You may want to specify a size limit per pic and what format would be easiest for you to work in.

I've still got to go through the ones I took and see if any came out worth anything. Driving one handed and snapping pics at the same time is a pretty interesting experience! I think I'll leave the picture taking to them who have co-pilots in the future though!

Most pic today from digital cams are jpg format. From Ritz they are the Microsft PicturIt! and i can deal with that.

If you have multiple files please zip them into one file. I once have the photos I will do a complilation for those that wish to have one.

I looked at mine and have some of the more scenic parts of the road that should do. As I mentioned earlier, I couldn't take any during the more curvy sections as I had both hands full through them.

I'll size them up and get them sent to you. You can use what you think is appropiate.

Hi All!

I just wanted to drop by and post to say that Keith and I had a SUPER time on our first Mini drive with the group. We look forward to more good times.

Thanks L J and George for leading a well thought out drive.

Until next time.

Cheers, Debi

What a great MINI outing this weekend.

Thanks to Smokey for getting this drive started, sorry that you could not be with us.
LJ you had a perfect drive, everything worked as planned even the weather.

It was great to meet some new MINIs and enjoyed seeing some familiar faces again. We are lucky to live in the Carolinas and have such excellent roads to drive our MINIs on.

Thanks for everyone’s support of M2C2. We picked up some good suggestions for the club this weekend. One was that we post the route of the drive on our website for others to use in the future, if even for a solo trip. We will work on putting it on the website. I am sure if you email LJ for now he can provide anyone with the route. Thanks to Whskysouth for offering to put together a picture CD. It is people and their ideas that will make this one of the best MINI clubs in the country.

Our next M2C2 drive in this area will be during Eurofest weekend. Here is a link to more information about that event.

I have been meaning to sign up for the M2C2, but haven't. My girlfriend will be the proud owner of an Indi Blue MCS this week. I wish the next outing would be a more distant location. I work at BMW, so this isn't really an exciting trip for me. Next time you guys run to the mountains, let us know. We'll be there with bells on.

Those pics look like the Waterrock **** overlook and parking lot. Is that right. I grew up right down the road from there. We hope to get in on the next group outing, just had too much going on Sat.

This was a great run in the mountains with picture perfect weather. Thanks to the folks from M2C2 for planning this event. The family and I look forward to the next event, and we may even let my daughter out of the boot

Lakesands--

That's the Devil's Courthouse overlook, just north of where N.C. 215 intersects the parkway.

Okey dokey, I have 22 pics to send to Whiskeysouth. I have maybe a half dozen more from the restaurant parking lot, but the roll of film is still in the camera.....

I've collected a few, too, and Helga (the restaurant owner) has some taken in his parking lot, if I ever remember to stop by. It might be easier to mail a CD to someone, rather than to upload them on my cable modem. Who's collecting them -- Whiskeysouth? And what size is appropriate?

You know , you should all be a little more considerate of those of us that could not go. Completing honey do's was already painful enough without having to read all of the fun and see the awesome pictures! Awesome.

Helllo all...

Pics can be sent to me on CD via snail mail if you like. PM for my snail mail address. I would like to get them electronically if you have a dsl or cable modems. We can try email and if that does not work then i have a server I can walk you through on how to send them to me.

Size of pics; mostly whatever you are comfortable with. I prefer the pics as they were developed and put on the CD or as they were loaded straight out of the digital camera.

Looking forward to the next Run!

Whiskeysouth, I just e-mailed you about 20 pics from the first roll of film. They were straight off of the CD. I have about a half dozen at the restaurant on the second roll which I'll send you when I get the film developed.
