I'm trying to upload pics from the New Milford meet this weekend, but it seems to be stuck on "Processing Status... addding." Any suggestions?

 

Depending on the size and numbers of images you are uploading it could take some time. What type of internet connection are you using? If is is dial-up the connection could have had a hiccup and stalled the upload. If you are on broadband I would expect the upload to complete and not get hung. I believe you should be able to close the upload window and examine the gallery to see if your pictures uploaded. If they did but some don't appear to be complete please let me know and I will delete them. If they didn't upload at all please retry the upload and let me know what message (if any) you receive. Thanks!

The average file size of each pic is about 3 megs (this might be a problem, I'll try saving them as bitmaps instead of jpegs), but I am running on a T-1 connection, so that should not be a problem. I will give it a try again. Thanks

Guess they have to be jpeg's, got the error message that it can't handle the bitmap format. I'll try again as jpegs.

 

Mark, its been "processing status" for about 10 minutes, just says "adding..."

Can you tell me what album you attempting to add these images to? Also, the image size of 3MB is very large and could be leading to the hang you are seeing. Given that we typically reduce the image size to 640x480 can you resize them, try uploading these resized versions, and if they don't work please email me a copy of the resized versions (mferguson@northamericanmotoring.com). Actually, I screwed up when I initially stated that the files were appriximately 3 megs, they are actually only about 300 KBs. I am trying to post the pics in the NY/NE Gallery under regional meets. Thanks, and its not a huge problem, just wanted to post some good pics from this weekend's event.
