Are there stats for the average time it takes people to move into each gear of NAM?

 

No. It all depends on whether you speak when necessary or if you are a...well....let's call it a "prolific poster"!

 

I think if you were to figure out the averages, the numbers would be horribly skewed. Of the 34,000 or so members on NAM, almost 24,000 of them have fewer than 10 posts. Since so many members are going to be in neutral or first gear forever, the "average" time to get out of first gear is going to be artificially long.

Now, if you limit your stats to only those users that have *already* made it into 5th or 6th gear, and calculate how long it took them to get there, the numbers might be a little more useful.
