There haven't been any recent changes that I've made to the CSS that drives the site. I did download and install the 2.0.0.1 version of Firefox for OS X 10.4.7. Here is what I see of the quick reply box:
I'm using Firefox on OSX and I see the red button. Regardless its used to collapse the block it is associated with. In this case it really doesn't do anything useful except to collapse/expand the quick reply.

I use Camino on OSX, Firefox on Vista and neither shows the red arrow on that particular box...not that it's that important to me
Correct, this happens on Firefox on both Mac and PC. Safari and IE work on their respective OS's.
This is the html code on the page that displays the button:
Are you also using Firefox 2.0.0.1? I'm on OS X and with 2.0.0.1 I'm seeing the button. If I am I have no idea why you wouldn't be if you are on OS X and Firefox. Can you tell me what version of OS X you are running? I'm currently on 10.4.7.
Yep Firefox 2.0.0.1 on both Mac (version 10.4.8 I think, I am at work now on a PC)and PC. Just to make it clear, I am ONLY talking about the quick reply box every other block has the red arrow button.
Ok this is truely weird, the same exact issue happens on mini2.com. The quick reply box does not have the up/down arrows but every other box ont he site does....
I haven't been able to reproduce this with Firefox on either my Windows or OS X boxes...both with default installations. The good news is that even if the little button is missing it really serves no purpose on the quick reply form.
