There haven't been any recent changes that I've made to the CSS that drives the site. I did download and install the 2.0.0.1 version of Firefox for OS X 10.4.7. Here is what I see of the quick reply box:

I use Camino on OSX, Firefox on Vista and neither shows the red arrow on that particular box...not that it's that important to me

Correct, this happens on Firefox on both Mac and PC. Safari and IE work on their respective OS's.

This is the html code on the page that displays the button:

<a href="newreply.php?do=newreply&amp;p=1387564" rel="nofollow" id="qr_1387564" onclick="return false"><img src="/forums/images/buttons/quickreply.gif" alt="Quick reply to this message" border="0" /></a>

Are you also using Firefox 2.0.0.1? I'm on OS X and with 2.0.0.1 I'm seeing the button. If I am I have no idea why you wouldn't be if you are on OS X and Firefox. Can you tell me what version of OS X you are running? I'm currently on 10.4.7.

Yep Firefox 2.0.0.1 on both Mac (version 10.4.8 I think, I am at work now on a PC)and PC. Just to make it clear, I am ONLY talking about the quick reply box every other block has the red arrow button.

I guess nobody else is really having this issue. I'll do more investigating on my end.

I haven't been able to reproduce this with Firefox on either my Windows or OS X boxes...both with default installations. The good news is that even if the little button is missing it really serves no purpose on the quick reply form.
