I've been on and off all morning and haven't noticed a thing different.

EDIT: just checked current server loading and all is normal there.

Seems to be normal, then slow, then normal. Hit and miss.

No issues on the server itself. Given that there could be any number of hops between the server and a particular location there could be some delays in those hops. Last week we had what looked like an outage for about 15-20 minutes but it turned out it was a router that went down in the data center where we have the server located...but the server was fine.

Jumping from forum to forum seems normal. Uploading posts seem to be slow.

Everything is slow when I go anywhere in NAM. Every other website I go to from job related sites to CNN is loading three times faster.

Wonder what's causing it?

From my location (1,000 miles from where the server is located) the site seems very snappy today. I haven't seen any significant loading on the server.

It's weird. I'm getting the NAM slowdown at work and at home, but no other site is affected.

Do a traceroute, and see what timings you got, through what servers. That'll tell you what's slowing you down.

Unless of course ICMP traffic is blocked along the way.

Things cleared up yesterday. Must have been some server somewhere along the path having a slow day.
