a different Smiley question
a different Smiley question
I noticed that in the advanced posting there was two ways to acess the same set of smilyes. Both on the right and in the top next to the attach button, I was wondering if it was possible to have acess to the latter in quick reply? No biggie just a little request.
Good call.
At this point I have taken to remembering the code for most of the smilies so that I can still use smilies and the quick reply. Even so, having the clickable list would be handy. However, now that I've developed this habit, it might be easier to click the icon for :thumbsup : but I'm not sure about something short like :razz :

Too bad you couldn't see me whip this all up in the quick reply box.

This is something that is really driven by vBulletin. If they offer it in the future we'll have it. That said the purpose of quick reply is really to provide a quick text reply. Regardless if vBulletin makes this enhancement in the future we get it in an upgrade. Thanks!

While we're on the smiley subject, can we get some more on a page 2 sort of thing? The other site I frequent uses vBulletin and it has the small Smiley window, but if you need more variety, there's an optiion for a page two with about 60 extra smileys
I haven't added more smilies as I feel that the meanings they convey can often be confusing. That said I'm open to adding a few more given that I want to meet whatever need is expressed. I just don't want to add a huge number because after a while none of them will have any type of standard meaning (ie - we'll have too many choices to work from
