It would be great to have chat capabilities on the site and scheduled meetings, forums and discusions.

Thanks for the feedback. We've been considering this feature and may introduce it in the future but we're concerned about its impact on the forums. If chat was offered, given that we are early in the life of the MINI here in the States, our concern is that a lot of valuable information conveyed via chat wouldn't be archived in a way that could later be searched. We'll keep giving it consideration. Thanks again for your feedback....keep it coming!

have a nice program that won't be a drain on your server (if you let them host it). no i don't work for them.

another auto-related bb (performanceyears.com) used it when they offered chat and i think it worked well. you can probably find the history there (including why they took it off) on their site somewhere.

integration was pretty simple with the infopop bb--you used the same user name and password and once you were logged in to the bb you were also automagically logged into the chat.

I have to agree with Mark. If valuable info was discussed in a live chat, then those who were not part of the chat session would not be able to later read the posts and reference the info included. It also might cut down on forum posts, which I find to be very valuable.

By the way Mark, how's Mr. Blue Sky doing? Give him a bath yet? The joys of being a MINI parent!
