What happened to NAM?

First time I've been able to get on since yesterday AM. What happened or was it just me?

I'm glad NAM is back up. You don't realize how much you miss it until it's gone.

I've collapsed! I'm back in the FL Panhandle as sndwave's guest....going to sleep off the severe Dragon-induced fatigue. Went to bed at the unusual for me hour of 9 PM and slept until 4:30 AM! You know what an insomniac I am, so that was a huge sleep! Still tired...and for "some" reason, my arms and shoulders are tired (all those GREAT twisties take muscle)!

Was there just too much traffic, or were you updating?

I thought it might be my incredibly slow dial-up modem.

I think it was the opposing forces contained in the 'Vandalized' thread that killed the server.

I'm sure it was site maintenance or similarly related. Mark will no doubt chime in to confirm.

Kudos totally go out to Mark Ferguson and every single moderator, programmer, and designer [me too!] for keeping us all happy and content with the North American Motoring forum, running 24/7.

I thought it was just me and my crappy PC and slow dial-up connection. Glad to see that it wasn't. I lost a post or two I tried to make. I could get on in the early afternoon, but couldn't post. When I tried, I just lost the page completely.
