How-to Forum?

I was searching for a how-to on brake changing...I searched 'brake' 'brakes' 'pads' and while I found a lot of talk about brake pads, their wear, bite etc. I had to scroll into one of the posts to find a link to a how-to brake pad change. Keeping that in mind I thought "wouldn't it be great if there was just a how-to forum!" There would be no other posts besides write-ups and how-to's. Obviously there would be replies w/in the posts, but aside from that just pages, and pages of info and insight!

doh, wrong thread, anyway, I agree, I'm trying to change my oil, and remembered the how-to thread, but it was a tad difficult to find. With all the how-to guides posted on these boards, it would be great to have a single location where they could be easily located.

I would also like to see a How-To Section.

I have a crank install guide in word format. Still need to reduce the image size. Not sure how to do this.

Here's a thread on changing the brake pads.

https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ad.php?t=38346

I also remember seeing a thread with a big list of 'How-To' links. I'll keep looking.

Thank you. I try to keep my list of How Tos updated. Since there isn't a specific place, and I couldn't come up with an easily implemented system the last time I talked with Mark about it, so we just stickied the list at the top of Interior & Exterior Mods section.

Actually it would be great to see it as a separate forum. Perhaps at the top of each forum a link to the Main "how to" one. This would perhaps stop "how to's" from being push down in a thread over time.

It could be broken down into each area. Detailing, Brakes and such...Great idea Coop.
