Copy and Paste under Mozilla Firefox 1.0.1

It works fine on MINI2 but here I'm unable to paste into the Message Box anything (text, URL, etc) I've copied

I run Firefox under OS X and have this happen occasionally. It appears to be something that is a bug in Firefox. The way I get around it is to exit Firefox and then restart it. It seems that once it starts happening this is the only way to clear it.

There isn't anything on NAM that is set to prevent copy and paste.

Have you ever been able to copy and paste to NAM?

What operating system are you on? Perhaps I can try to reproduce the problem.

I get the same thing. You have to type the text you want visible for the URL, highlight it, then click the "Insert Link" button. Then it works fine. Only have the issue in Firefox.. I'm not sure why.

Also, Firefox usually won't let me paste on NAM. Instead of right clicking, you have to use the Edit drop down menu. Its not second nature like the right click, but it works.

As I mentioned in my first post, I'm not having any problems using Firefox to copy and paste on MINI2 (vBulletin Version 3.0.7). I can copy and paste on NAM using IE 6.0.

Per imavunderbrah's suggestion, I was able to Paste via the Edit drop down menu  but Paste doesn't exist under right click

I'm running Windows 98 SE but will be upgrading to XP next week

I have no problems pasting in Firefox. But I use keyboard shortcuts (ctrl-v and shift-ins both work), not mouse clicky things.

I've had problems with Firefox on the PC and Mac. I'll copy something with the keyboard shortcut and it doesn't paste or will paste the older stuff that was in the clipboard. I got the error in the screen shot above a few weeks ago but that was the only time.
