Area for Dyno postings

it would be cool for both personal and vendors to be able to post DYNO data in one area. That way when someone asks "How much power from a tribulator valve?" , they can see in the dyno postings from fellow enthusiasts.

Cool?

I could not agree more. It gives you some idea of what to expect $/hp

Interesting idea.

I think there might be a way to integrate this in a similar way to another project Mark's working on.

I'm not sure what the timeframe would be for that at this point. We'll talk it over.

I also think that would be good. There is quite a bit of dyno talk being thrown around throughout the site. It would help to have it in one area to compare.

What I'm picturing (and maybe you guys can help us flesh this out a bit) is the following:

Instead of just dumping graphs into a thread, it would be nice if you could input your mods, maybe have several drop down menues and then the system could return the graphs that applied to your seach criteria

for instance

Cooper / Cooper S

Intake - Yes / No, if yes then another box drop down menu maybe becomes available to pick a brand of intake
Exhaust - Yes / No ,if yes then another box drop down menu maybe becomes available to pick a brand of exhaust
Pulley - Yes / No
ECU - Yes / No, if yes then another box drop down menu maybe becomes available to pick a brand of ECU
etc.

Maybe there would be another entry for peak hp and peak torque. That way you could search by HP too and see what did people do to get 235+ hp on a cooper S or 140 HP on a Cooper.

The data needs to be categorized, because a bunch of charts dumped into a hole isn't going to be much of a resource.

All of this requires development mind you.
