My daughter's 2009 Mini is back up and running very nicely and I couldn't have done it right without the help from people here in this forum.

I've had profiles on many other forums over the years and in trying to get it done with our 2009, I actually set up a profile on another Mini forum a week before I found this one.

That's very important to mention the "other" Mini forum because I put 3 different threads on there and have yet to hear a single response from them. I know there's people there because when I checked a few days ago, one of my threads had 39 views and 0 replies.

The Mini Cooper is particularly tough for finding info. The dealership here refuses to help in any way shape or form but you guys here got back to me quick like the next morning after I set up my profile, I found answers to my questions. I got valuable info here. That's awesome.

Forums are made up of the people who participate. I don't know what's wrong with those guys at that "other" Mini forum or what I might have said wrong although I said the exact same thing here that I said there so again, who knows?

My daughter loves that car and intends on keeping it for a long time so I'll be around here for the foreseeable future and might even actually try to help someone if I can.
