Coordinator Titling
Coordinator Titling
The titling for those assisting us with the Regional and Club forums has changed in two ways:
1) The usernames are now displayed in black.
2) The title has been changed from Moderator to Coordinator.
What has not changed: the ability of Coordinators to manage threads in their respective forums.
Background:
We want to continue to recognize those that are helping us with the Regional and Club Forums. We are very happy with the growth of the regional and club forums, and that growth wouldn't be possible without those of you who are involved with the organization of events in your areas. Additionally, the regional and club forums have been fairly problem free and "moderation" in those forums has been mostly thread management related.
As some of you may have noticed, with the growth of the regional and club forums, the previous mark-up meant that in some threads it looked like everyone who posted was a moderator.
This presented a couple of issues for the site, the main one being it was becoming less and less clear who users should contact when moderation issues in the General Interest Forums did arise. The changes above were made to help correct that and better describe the function those individuals were performing.
Again, I'd like to thank all of those who are helping with the regional and club forums.
