nagging message popups

is there a preference somewhere to disable the little popup windows that show the text of whatever your mouse happens to be over at the moment? I find this terribly annoying! This just happened since the new update, i get this on other sites using the same site layout.

I don't believe you have an option of turning that off (the preview pane).

I noticed this feature and like it as I now can see what is being said without actually have to go into the thread.

i do realize that some might like this, but my post is regarding it's annoyance! everytime i move the cursor to get rid of a popup, another one shows up. and it's usually over the top of what i'm trying to read. it just seems that if there were a way to turn it off then we'd all be happy motorers!

I find it annoying too.
So, there is no way of turning it off? I couldn't find anything in my forum control panel.

In six years I'm pretty sure the answer is still 'there is no solution.' But I suspect that the 'popup' we see now is different from the one they describe, as if changed by another update - to show up slower, and to disappear instantly. The code for this 'thread preview' is probably deeply embedded in vBulletin.

Put your arrow in the 'views' column and you wont get any previews. Thats the best I can do.
