text colour

I notice if I go to a thread the text goes from blue to red,but when the thread
goes to the top of the list it stays red.Did the old site not go white to yellow
then back to white if it went back to the top of the list?

The link stays red to indicate that you have read the post previously

to tell if there is a new post since the last time you looked at it, check the envelope next to the post.

New posts since your last viewing: or

No New Posts since your last viewing: or

I haven't figured out the difference between the two "new post" icons or the two "no new post" icons (anyone have any plausable theories)?

yeah, that's my take on the little envelope icons (open and light orange - new posts, closed and blueish - no new posts)

Link Colors

Not sure if this is the case for anyone else, I have a high caliber graphics monitor for engeering design drawings so colors show up very sharp and accurate as possible. Which doesn't make sense based on the probem I am having.

The problem I am having is the two links that appear in the black bar just below the new header graphic "Search' and (I think it says because I cannot read it) "Quick Links", is that correct? The colors those two items have been assigned are too dark and therefore are not legeable, any chance of increasing the contrast on their color or changing the colors all together?

Changing the colors of Search and Quick Links is on the list of things to do.

Oh THANK YOU!!! I've been tweaking the color settings in IE for the last few days trying to find a combination that works, haven't been able to though!
