Problems embedding Flickr images
I haven't posted any images in a little while (I just had a second baby in January so haven't had much time for the forums
). Anyways, I always posted my photos that were hosted on Flickr and followed their terms of service which requires you to use either their html or bbcode image links (which, in turn, returns a viewer to my personal Flickr image page if they so happen to click the link/image which I've always found extremely valuable in finding other users who share a photography interest). It has worked that way on every forum, including this one, until today when I tried to post a couple of images. Now I just get a link with a little error msg saying something about embedding not being enabled
Not sure if this is an error on the forum software perhaps that maybe needs fixing or what but I wanted to bring it to your attention.
Thanks for any help you have and I hope this can get straightened out since I'd love to share many more images from this upcoming season (which starts for me next weekend covering a show in CT, then another one in PA, then eventually a local Mini only show here on Long Island).

I'm not sure how it was before but currently, the only way I can embed photos from Flickr is to copy the HTML/BB code and deleting everything other than the (img)(/img) link(I'm using brackets so that the words show up). So for example:
url=http://www.flickr.com/photos/77722843@N02/8595764445/]
img]http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8235/8595764445_8d911a4176.jpg/img][/url]
[url=http://www.flickr.com/photos/77722843@N02/8595764445/]Untitled/url] by url=http://www.flickr.com/people/77722843@N02/]1ngraynor/url], on Flickr
I would just instead put
img]http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8235/8595764445_8d911a4176.jpg[/img
Please note I have randomly removed brackets so that the text shows up.

Do you have a link to the posts where you tried it? Then I can go check the code as you entered it, as well as double check the settings for those particular sub forums.

It would appear flicker has changed their url structure, so this is a portion of the URL: "...xstartxtodayx/8590417541/]_JDS1175-web-2" and the part that bolded appears that it could be cutting off the code as though it were to be some sort of end tag. above I went to the link for what looks to be your most recent attempt, and merely hit return between each section of code to try and isolate the issue.
Testing without adding spaces:

Your image and it's hyperlink

So the code should look like this replacing {} with []
{URL="http://www.flickr.com/photos/xstartxtodayx/8590417541/"}
{IMG}http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8370/8590417541_e331ab70a5.jpg{/IMG}{/URL}
