Have you thought of holding a readers choice competition for best vendor, best dealership.....

I think that would be pretty cool to have something like that every year and then maybe award a prize to the winner of each category. We could even include posters. The person with the most posts for the year, something along those lines. Some vendors and dealerships really stand out and it would be neat to reward them for there work, as well as promote more traffic to the site and reward some of the long time posters on this site.

Any thoughts on this?

 

I'm open to doing this at some point but, unfortunately, my time right now is very limited. Between the work I've been doing relative to the Dragon, securing a new server for the site, and the migration work I have very little time left. Perhaps late in the summer I'll have time to explore this further. I apologize for not being able to be more accomodating right now.

How about best of threads?

How to do this or that with pictures.
Sample galleries based on exterior or interior features
Or how to do only exterior mods or interior mods vs suspension mods vs engine mods, etc.

Summary threads that tie together good multiple threads over time-
Like exhausting exhausts

Or best of events-
Social events like Las Vegas MINI adventure or
Tail of the Dragon
IJ premiere
Etc

Or a FAQ for newbies.
Or how to form a club.
Or a best of MINI clubs or a club showcase.
Or a best of MINI for women
Or a best of for autocross

The basic good of a best of series would be it is great concise starting point to read on with the idea that there are many more threads with more explanation that one can search for and find.
