Hey guys I'm new to this site so I was wondering what's with all the gear things in people's tags. Right now it says I'm in neutral?

 

It's just fun category names based on the amounts of posts you have. The more posts, the higher the "gear" you are in. Lots of forums have that. A motorcycle board I am on has something similar (coffee shop poster, riding the cones, dragging knee on one wheel, etc.)

And you can also check out our FAQ for more info as well for the details on the gears and other site features as well. The gears are really just a way of showing how active people are, and one method of encouraging people to post. It's just based on post count which you may just as easily watch on the other side of the user information bar.
