>>P.S. The Allah/Kevlar sig cracks me up. But I'd rather not see it here.

I agree wth you. I was happy with leaving it blank, but after being accused of ignoring someone's Dean promo i never even saw, and the attacks for my mere request for change, I felt further action was needed to make my point. It was my last option... but since it doesn't look like any rule changes are coming. I hope this brings about the focus on idistractions.

We must have freedom first!
This politically correct stuff is like, who's tune are we marching to today, all this politically correct stuff has happened before in history and the result was always bad.

It's amazing how many people are confused about the difference between government censorship (which is almost always a bad thing)... and an individual making rules for decorum in an online forum they run (which is compleely expected).

I think we can all see how quickly this thread turned into exactly what th original poster was concerned about. I love this site and what I learn here, but I will limit my visits if what I read is a bunch of bashing (Bush or whoever the Dem of the day is). I am all for self expression when it comes to the central them of the site, which is MINI's, not politics. Let's all just remember that we have one thing in common, our love for these autos. How about we stick to what draws us together and leave what separates us at home.

Greatbear, this is so f-bomb-ing cool! I quoted it just so I could see it again! It reminds me of the goofy pictures we used to make in 8th grade typing class. I'll be really impressed if you can make a turkey out of smileys.
