Mark,
Please let us know if there is anything that we might have done that added to the risk of the crash or was it something totally unrelated. Also based on my recollection of what happened on 9/10 I lost about 13 or more posts and the last
post I have dated was about 12:04am on 9/10. Not long after that I could not access MCO at all.

Thanks for keeping us informed I thought at first that MCO was hyjacked by aliens for something. That's a long break for maintenance.

Anyway thanks. I know you were away and had to rush back to restore us.
If you can provide any more info I think it would be neat to know about it. Something short would be fine.

Thanks for hanging in there! It appears that the issues was just a plain old hard drive failure. I've provided some updates on the home page that provide information on the restoration. Unfortunately with our backup schedule some posts where lost through this process. Now that we've gone through this and MCO continues to grow we'll be further evaluating how to insure the site's stability in the years to come. I'm glad we spent time at the very beginning to do backups.

Thanks for patience and support of the site!

Mark

Thanks Mark for all your work to get MCO back up!

I was beginning to have withdrawals.

Just FYI:

The MCO Splash page still shows the "down" message
(That's https://www.northamericanmotoring.com/
whereas the /index.php page opens the home page correctly).

Cheers,
Markus
