What is Going on With the Site?

I keep running into periods where it takes forever to connect, or "turn pages." What is going on???

I have had the same thing happening to me, but only during the day at work. It's rather annoying.
BTW, I think this thread should be in "Site Feedback".

Yeah, but it seemed to go away for a while (for me anyway).

None of those three things have helped me the last few days. Just have to wait (1/2 hr to 1 hr) and retry.

It's a sacrifice we're all willing to make so you don't have to whine anymore!

You think that will stop my whining?!?! HA! I say, HA! at you presumption! Allow me to demonstrate.

I was walking through the parking lot to Romi when I encountered a piece of glass from a beer bottle! Not just any glass, but a shard which happened to be oriented in such a manner as to garantee a flat tire should it be run over!!

Now I am a reasonable man,..buit WHAT IN THE HECK IS SOMEONE TOSSING A BEER BOTTLE INTO OUR PARKING LOT FOR!!!!!! ARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!

The above whine was done in response to the non-whine comment and was for demonstration purposes only. Had this been a real whine, you would have been completely surprised by it and shocked at its contents. Carry on.

See?

Most likely because it was empty. You sure Romi didn't quench a little thirst?

Romi is not of drinking age yet and when she does reach that age, I will taste test it all before I let her have any.

Of course, in those cases, she will not be driven. A drunk Mini is a terrible thing!

Like an innocent, sexy girl like that, alone in a parking lot, where at least one very shady-looking character has been seen, doesn't have another source???

But you had to get from your look-out location to the piece of glass...

It was on my way in this morning. She was right behind me. And my office is 8 feet from the front door. Takes me 2.5 seconds to get into it from the door.

And after today, I will have replay/rewind for my camera. Besides, Romi ain't that kind of girl. The only external stimuli she needs is for me to push some of her buttons, handle her wheel, stir her stick....ok, I gotta stop now.

Unless you got a very weird secret convertible, I'd say those are internal. And, if you had a turbo, it would only take you 6.4 seconds.

Mrs. Skuzzy might need a nanny cam in your garage to keep an eye on you two.

Don't feel bad...I started the drought back in '03 when I got my Cooper. Uncle John recently ended it with his R56 MCS....or so he claims.

Wait 'til you've just finished writing a well thought out post that ate up your last half hour or so and suddenly the site shuts down just as you're about to, "submit Reply". Of course you try the refresh, etc. but to no avail. Oh, by the way, when the site ultimately does come back on-line everything in your little writing box is gone (blank slate).
