New R53 owner in Las Vegas
Hello SCMC!
I recently purchased a 2004 R53 and I'm loving it. I'm already looking at installing a 17% pulley and wanted to know what shops or local guys/gals (any SCMC members?) you recommend here in town. I already had Kensington look it over right after I purchased it and they seem real knowledgeable.
Thanks

P.S. I've checked out your website and thinking about joining...

Howdy!
Kensington is the shop I'd go to. There are a few Club members that tinker with their cars. Once a month we try to have a DIY day and work on things, and we put it on the Club calendar when we set the dates. There are about 100 of us in the Club now, and we're always looking for new victims. We're also pretty active on Facebook (ugh! yeah, I know, but its sort of convenient, and free)
I haven't seen you yet, but I've been out of town recently. I'm rather hard to miss - although you have to look fast
Our Club's Annual Holiday Party is next Saturday, so you'd definitely see a large mess of MINIs (and maybe some Minis) there, if you're in town.
Hope to see you around.
Happy motoring!
