Folks this car is Gollum I. The original purchaser was me, and the story may be found here. I am glad to hear that Gollum is still as healthy as it was when I regretfully gave it up for the less powerful H Stock Gollum II.
This car was meticulously maintained by Turner Motorsport of Amesbury Mass and Mini of Peabody - also in Massachusetts. It is a street weapon and holds two regional championships in STX up in the New England Region of the SCCA.
Cheers,
Charlie

Thanks for the additional info Charlie. I'm sad to give this thing up. How's your new Gollum working out?
I may be following in your footsteps with an non-S R56 as my new highway cruiser.

The new Gollum is coming along fine - just a whole lot slower.
By the way, you underestimated the power - your car turned 211 hp. The dyno chart may be found here. Actually Bren got a bit more, but the chart he printed had lost a little power due to heat soak.
I think you are smart under the circumstances, and I hope this unique Works car finds another good home. I agree it would be a terrible waste to commute the car to an early grave.
Cheers,
Charlie
