2005 MCS Part Out Donor Car - Spare Parts available.

Category: Exterior
Price: $1
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (you may select multiples): R50, R52, R53
Location (Region): NorCal
Item Condition: Used

I have a 2005 Yellow MCS DINAN S R53. Sadly, it started out as a restoration project, but it's too far gone and will now serve as a donor car for my project 2004 MCS. The engine is blown. I will be harvesting a number of parts from the car - whinc will include the DINAN Parts. Just in case anyone has a need for other parts, please let me know.

PLEASE NOTE: I am keeping the following from the car for my other MCS:

Coil Over Suspension
Brakes
17' Wheels
DINAN Intake
DINAN Exhaust
DINAN Pulley (If it has one)
Adjustable Rear control arms
Some random interior bits
Passenger side window & regulator
Steering Wheel
Possibly transmission & Light weight Clutch
Possibly the Super Charger - was advised the 2006 has an improved SC Blades.

If anyone needs anything else, please let me know. The current wheels on it are up for grabs (Please see Pics) - they have really good tires on them.

Cheers!

PS: I will post additional pictures as I start taking it apart.

The wheels pictured here are now on the other (Red) MINI

Someone asked about the seats.... here they are

Driver's seat has loose stitching on the Left Bolster. Pics to come.

The rears are in good shape

Someone asked about the DINAN Badge.

These are the wheels that are available.

Don't think Dinan did any head work. Interested in seeing some photos as you pull her apart. Is this a S1 or a S2 car?

Trying to clarify here, "you are taking the following off the car" as in you are taking those parts for your use? Or as in those parts are available for purchase and you plan to remove them from the car? If it is the latter, I'll pm you and we can work out a price for the intake if you are willing to ship it.

Thanks for all the quick responses. I had to update the ad / post as I wasn't completely clear and I apologize for that. The car is a Donor car for my 2004 MCS, so I will be keeping several parts from it. That what I meant when I initially said I will be taking certain parts from the car. Again, apologies for any confusion.

I'm keeping the steering wheel. I'll post pics of the seats. They are a Yellow / Black seats.

From what I'm learning, there is really no such thing as a DINAN Head. I'll get mileage for you soon. I was advised to keep the Supercharger if it is good as it was upgraded in the 2006. Also, work sheet claims a DINAN SC was installed. Don't know what that is yet.

This seems to be the case as I'm learning. Thanks for the input. Guess the head isn't that special. I did notice the intercooler seems to be a stock unit as well, so not sure what is DINAN abotu that, but I will find out. I will update the main thread about the car with progress and pictures. Car is badged as an S1

Good info to have.... Thanks! It's interesting with this car, seems it started out a Stage 1 and then went back for more upgrades. I got the build sheet and it shows Tune, Pulleyu and TB were installed at some point.

From the build sheet:
  • D900-16R = Stage 1
  • D903-16R2 = Freeflow Exhaust
  • D903-16R5 = Freeflow Exhaust, CAI, Throttle Body, Boost Hop Up Kit (I just realized that the D903-16R5 is just the Stage 5 tune, not hardware.) Maybe it didn't get all the hardware required for Stage 5 Tune.
Supposedly, it also got a Fuel Pump / Fuel Injection Upgrade kit.

Thanks so much for the question, I re-read the ad and had to edit it as I realized I wasn't quite clear. You are right in that I meant I am taking the parts for my use - on my 2004 MCS. This car is playing the role of donor car. Sadly, I am keeping the Intake as well. Sorry.

Not sure why you're advertising a DINAN part out if you're keeping all the DINAN parts.
That said, might want to post pics of the interior so people might know what's available.

Thanks for the offer. I am going to stick with the DINAN Exhaust.

I'm sorry if the ad came off as mis-leading. I have edited it to reflect the status of the car and what I plan to keep. Just didn't want to waste all the other parts in case someone had use / need of them.

From what I can see, it's not a DINAN TB.

The exhaust, wheels (17'), and steering wheel are not for sale - sorry. Headlights work, but don't have the headlight wash feature.

Do you mean that little cubby thing with a cover? If so, then yes I have one.

Can you PM please? Those items are available as of now, just not sure how accessible something like the harness will be. Are you local?

E-Brake boor and handle are available - shoot / PM me an offer. The other item you pointed at is not a cup holder, that is where a pillar should be.
