OEM R56 Catalytic Converter Ceramic Coated

Category: Drivetrain
Price: $400
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (you may select multiples): R56
Location (Region): Midwestern
Item Condition: Used

Item has been SOLD.

Sold my JCW a few months back and have some parts to sell. Just in time for the Holidays. You’ve been good, go ahead and treat yourself.

Selling a OEM Catalytic Converter with approx. 1,000 miles on it. I had this professionally ceramic coated by Street Werkz (Same company that does the powder coatings for PowerBlock TV shows ) in order to better handle the heat problems with the R56. http://streetwerkz.com

OEM # 18307583146. A rebuilt unit will run $1100 from the dealer which doesn't include the cost of the ceramic coating. I know I won't get my money out of this unit but I need to sell it so I am having a 50% off sale.

Selling price is $400. (Shipped - US lower 48. ) Payment via Paypal or cash. Item located in Central Ohio.

Sorry, I didn't see your question until tonight. I don't see why it wouldn't fit. My car was a 09 JCW, which is a Cooper S + the JCW bits added at the factory.

I do see that on penskeparts.com the R56 JCW cat converter is part # 18307583146 and the R56 2007-2010 Cooper S Cat converter is part # 18307558755 (originally part # 18307597972).

I don't see why they wouldn't be the same. However, I can't guarantee it. Maybe others can verify this to be the case.

Agreed on the different part numbers. I'm starting research to see if there any reason why it won't bolt up and if it's a little better flowing then the Cooper S pipe.

The downpipes were the same for both a MCS and a FJCW, they didn't change it.
