If BMW is going to get that **** about the oil brand, then they'll find anything to get out of warranty. They don't know what you use. Unless it's documented on the receipts. I get all my oil changes done at the dealer so the warranty never has a beef. But I use Mobil 5/30 full syn for topping off which you should do with turbos. Dealer said it's fine.

This is my 2010 JCW World Championsip 50.

 

24 years old, this is r53 #5 for me over the years.. Seems I cannot stay away.

 

Age 17. Got it when I was 16, I had saved for years to get a MINI as my first car. Technically, it is not a JCW... yet ... But it has the JCW body kit, which I do not recall seeing on other S coopers around me in California. I'm giving it some more power and JCW brakes sometime soon anyways.

 

COKESTR is a 2013 JCW Cooper Hardtop. I was 50 years old when I took delivery of it on 12/1/2012. Still having a ton of fun grippin' & rippin' it.
