Let's Play: Can You Identify This Leak?!?

Noticed a small leak under my '06 JCW w/62k miles. Just got the car a month ago. PPI did not discover any leaks and it's been worked on since to repair typical wear items, cooling fan, bushings, mounts, etc.
I was away last week and decided to place cardboard under car as it sat for a few days.
So name that leak...

Interesting....b/c I've been bitching about my steering since I got it. The "typical mini whine" and feel. I even made a separate thread and video about it

^^Powersteering fluid,

I'd ask if it was into the dealer recently for the EHPS warranty work, but you're not covered by it. Start by looking at the powersteering return line (rubber hose crimped to a steel line) it is the most prominent leak in the PS system.

The power steering lines themselves can be a problem area as well and leak. Check the return and suction lines. #1 and #11 on the diagram below. Be sure to also inspect the pump and rack itself for any signs of leakage as well.

Thanks for the links. Upon looking more closely, it does look like it's one of the lines. Looks like a small puncture/hole where the clamp is installed. Plenty of PS fluid in the reservoir. Getting it taken care of tomorrow.

It's often just that the rubber shrinks a little and the clamp needs tightening. Except you can't tighten this type of clamp. So I removed those clamps (4 of them) and installed normal worm clamps. That took care of 98% of the leak, now it just makes a little oily film on the hose but never runs anywhere.
