ECSTuning. Speaking of BBS you have some wheels that will fit Gen 3 Mini but don't show as options when looking at possible wheels. I believe most with 5x112 with the right bore or bore spacer would work. Just an idea for those looking for a BBS options.

yep, we will add some HRE FLOWFORM and BBS to the drop down soon also. Its hard to know exact fitment as there are so many styles and offsets. Most dont have a fitment guide. Let me know if you are looking at something and i can see what will work. Might come close and then have to use spacers which we have for all MINIs.

All the specs are listed, they of course fit more then MINIs. Some 5x120 72.6CB will fit Countryman / Paceman. Some 5x112 66.56 CB ( 66.6CB ) will fit F56 F55 F54 F57.

If you take the Sizes of most aftermarket options in the dropdown and come close to BBS or HRE , again spacers can make it work, just be careful on the larger width as you will be poking

HRE

BBS

We also have AC Schnitzer Also, so there some more high end options:

Nice. I am surprised on how well they fit the MINI in style.

The Drag DR33 wheels look good with the white top and mirrors. What size Eagles? More pictures.

15x8 Enkei RPF-1's with a 28et-11lbs! There's nothing like running lightweight wheels!

Thanks! Here's one pic and the link to quite a few others if you care to see.

I'm an ET/Offset freak when it comes to fitment-have been since the early 90's! These fit with ZERO issues, no rubbing-at all. And I promise you, compare the way any Mini drives with bigger, heavier wheels, 17, 18's, etc. to how a Mini drives with a smaller, lighter setup, and the difference is absolutely amazing. You will never want to run bigger wheels ever again once you go smaller and lighter.

Those heavier wheels do nothing other than slow your car down, negatively affect the braking and handling, and create a much less compliant ride quality. Not to mention, they typically cost more. Spend a lot more and totally hurt performance? No thanks

Yeah I've been into low-hp "wrong-wheel-drive" cars for a long time as well. I was street-racing when a lot of people on here were still in the single-digit ages. I've got some 16" Fifteen52s ready for action - I've just got to a few more suspension bits to get together before I install them.

Wow....talk about a coincidence. I was one of the original 1552 guys with Brad, Adrian, and John back in the 90's. I actually started hanging out with Brad and those guys long before that when they first started VW Sport(huge throwback!).

I joined them in about 1996. We changed the name to the original 1552 Design a few years later and moved the business to Florida. I left in about 2002 and moved back up to the northeast.

It's awesome to see Brad killing it with the wheel line. We were ALWAYS pushing it with the wheel aspect of our design programs, especially for back then! Heck, we were running big 19" BBS LM's on VW's in the late 90's! Nobody did that before we did

Great choice on your wheels. I'm sure they're going to look amazing! What are you doing suspension wise?

It's funny how many Mini people are "reformed" air-cooled VW people. I had a Hot VW subscription in the early 90's, restored/owned a 72 Beetle, and will probably never stop lusting after a perfect 68 Squareback (weird dream car right?). I guess I'll never learn

How do you like the Drag wheels? Do they appear to be of good quality? I have always wondered. Thank you.

Yea, it was definitely a tough decision at that time, but there were a number of factors that went into it.

Lt Dan.....why does that sound familiar?? What car did you own back then? I had the white 95 Jetta GLX with the Abt kit. It's on the ft cover of the VW Performance Handbook-still!, was in PVW a number of times, European Car, etc. I then had the silver 99.5 Golf IV GLX with the Konigseder wide body kit, Porsche wheels.
