Yes it DEFINATELY needs some stripes or something
But I do like the colour too

Filled it up with gas and wanted to see how long a tank would last
The red light came on, and the gauge was just below the 1/8 line, computer said 41 kms left of driving and it ran out of gas LOL

Wonder if there is a way to reset gas gauge and comp cause it's really deceiving whe. It says there's gas but there really isn't

If you're referring to the onboard computer, it is possible to reset stats like MPG, avg. speed, etc. Just depress and hold the button on top of the left stalk (the same button that cycles through the OBC readouts on the tach), and that'll do it.

Personally, when I drop below 1/4 tank and see the red light, I start looking for top-tier gas and plan to fill up.

Post up some pics when you get the stripes done!

I will do the reset

Yes normally I try to keep tank topped but cause it was new to me, wanted to drop it as low as I could to put the good high octain gas in..

And what's more funny is I remember thinking at the time the red line on gauge was always red and just didn't pay attention when it was off

Was expecting an orange gas pump light or something that said low fuel

I guess that's why people should read the owners manual first LOL

I will post some pics once I get it striped, gonna do some searches here for stripes and check out other minis and how they look
