I think in=up but not sure, they move really easy & quick, not hard to figure out.
My car sits pretty low so I adjusted them just slightly below level (the pic's are how they came) and the main part of the beam hit's the road about 2/3's of the way to the main part of the headlight and it almost makes the high beams obsolete while still having no adverse effect on oncoming traffic or someone driving in front of you because of the lack of glare and overall focus of the beam.

As far as my other project goes, for those of you who normally don't look in the market:

Thanks again! Will get on it tomorrow.

Was very easy to install, turn the wheels out, remove the 4 clips underneath the wheel arch to loosen the mud guard, and you can install them.

I'm still using the normal H11 fog light bulbs. Thinking of getting some HID ones to make them brighter.

Here's my set I just installed yesterday. BlwnAway, you are correct, you can get to these by moving the wheel liner. I noticed this when i previously installed my angel eye running lights. It took a bit to get them lined up with the fog light holes in the bumper

Cool, if you get a chance I'd love to see a night pic of just the fogs to see what they look like on the road/ground.

Ok I'll try and get some night shot with just the fogs tonight. I drove thru a bridge construction last night. Each lane was closed in by the concrete barriers. The yellow lights looked sooo badass. I would've take a picture of that but was scared of bouncing off the concrete walls....

I'm working on my final hid upgrade and just thought of something about these, since they're mostly metal & glass you could probably use a 55w hid kit for them if you wanted to use them as a pseudo driving light, which would melt the oem housing for sure.

Don't know for sure what you mean by this, the front face of them fit right up against the inside of the bumper cover, just like stock.

As far as the Aero cover, I would guess that if the OEM versions are the same, these will fit also.

yea that is what I was wondering like how close does the front of the light casing come to the inside of the bumper. I didn't know if maybe the Aero kit bumper had less space behind it, taking away the space needed for these to be mounted there. But I guess your right if the OEM ones work on both with a snug fit these I would figure should be the same.

And, if you're going to do HID's & not regular bulbs, there is less heat generated even if they would rest against the inside of the bumper cover. They really do fit perfectly there was no need to fiddle with anything, so I would have to say that they would work.

To bump this, I just bought these. I'll post pics when I get these installed with the HID kit from ddm. I went with 5k bulbs and ordered new d2s bulbs in the same color to match.

You can wire it straight to a switch (like some people do for driving lights) or you can do it the OEM way, which involves getting a new bank of switches and having (I think) the BCM reprogrammed. Not sure if the second part is necessary though.

Still waiting to get them in but I did get in the HID kit. Looks good, typical DDM quality. I did notice something though. My passenger headlamp is a typical d2s however my drivers side is a d1s. Now I have to order another bulb to match. At least I have a spare now.

JP what are you talking about? Are the HID's for the fogs? and what did that kit run you?

second what are d2 bulbs? and where are you putting those?

also for anyone else is an HID a hallogen bulb? I understand the 5k color rating but dont know much about the different kinds of bulbs.

Basiclly what I think JP was saying is that he bought an hid kit for his new projector fog light housings, and he got them in 5000k, so he bought an extra set of 5000k d2 bulbs to replace the stock d2 bulbs in his headlights so that the colors for both would match.

And hid & hallogen are different, hid bulbs require a ballast and are also called xenon, this is the reason for having to buy a kit for the fogs, you need the proper bulbs & ballast for hid.

But, these housings will also work with the factory hallogen bulbs.

Another update: still no fog lights. They are giving me a refund due to the fact they still haven't gotten a new shipment yet. (At least that is their excuse) http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-MINI-Cooper-S-Projector-Black-Fog-Lights-Lamp-Assy-01-07-/251012111721?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3a717cdd69&vxp=mtr#ht_3450wt_904 is the link to who NOT to buy from. There is one other http://www.ebay.com/itm/R50-R52-R53-2001-2006-Cooper-One-S-Projector-Fog-Light-Black-for-Mini-BMW-/110795338418?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item19cbeab2b2&vxp=mtr#ht_1521wt_1161 who has them on eBay that I might try but for now, no cool fog lights for me right now. =/
