I had Mike at Aesthetic creations do up some stripes for me..... I really like them, what do you guys think?

 

Wow - very striking, lillux, and feminine without being "fluffy", if you know what I mean. I'm a big fan of purple and black, too.

Are those little leaves inside the purple stripes?

They are stars..... I have a thing for stars, so far I have 4 tats that are different types of stars.

I wondered how long it would take before someone did purple stripes. That is a really nice shade of purple too.

I have a dark silver and have been trying to figure out if I could do something like that, but having a hard time coming up with a color that would fit with the dark silver - maybe I can try your purple! Thievery is the highest form of flattery, after all.

I would never have though of the purple with the dark silver.

 

Im not really digging it. The purp seems to contrast the cars overall color palette. Stars are a taboo where I live, all the "cool" kids rock stars on their cars. But maybe its just that Im still a youngin. I'd like to see a black and white version of that...

Couldn't tell from the pictures but was thinking they were bats. Anyone else think they were bats? Then thought they were leaves... but thanks for letting us know they are stars. I'm sure it was just the resolution of the photo. Whatever they are, they look cool.

Also, I thought the stripes were blue and not purple. (?)

 

Friggen awesome! The fact the design has personal significance makes it MUCH more appealing. /expects to see pics of flame stickers off front and rear wheels being posted someday...and spinners...

I thought about getting the dark silver, but felt more comfortable with the black. I think purple stripes on a dark silver would look awesome.

I have seen very few cars with any sort of stars on them, so it is pretty unique for me.

I do want to say that the car will be the Midnight black and not the Astro black.

 

It is nice to be different. Weather anyone personaly likes them or not they are a truly custom addition to your Mini and I personaly like them. Your car looks great.

They look great and really pop on the black background.

 

I like them since they're dark purple. Light purple would look really weird and tacky.
