How hard is it to install on a MC?

I believe the rear bar swap is pretty straightforward, about 1-2 hours. You should ask around though, as I have not done it myself.

It's not too bad if you have the right set of tools and about 90 minutes or more.

If you are mechanically inclined or have a friend that is then you can look at the How to (courtesy of Outmotoring.com) and give it a try. Getting the stock MC bar out is fairly easy if you follow the instructions but getting the new bar back in is a bit of a struggle unless you have a persuader bar (huge crow bar or similar heavy rod device) or two.

Air tools or portable impact driver and the right sized sockets helps. Using a lift helps a lot. You can do it with using floor jacks and two jack stands for the rear. While you are at it you will be tempted to replace your cat back exhaust since you'll be in the same area anyway.

Have fun. Beer and pizza usually help to make the time go by faster.

Thanks Minihune for the accurate and comprehensive info, as always. You are a NAM treasure.

FPM, PM me if you decide to do the bar.

Thanks, and I apologize for hijacking your post. I have one that was given to me by another member who sold me his S-lite wheels, but I did not know if I could install them on my MC.
