Tire pressure monitors?

 

yessir.. on the new r56 week 32 and on they added a thingee to the back of the valve stem that communicates with a sensor - it monitors tire pressure and temperature

 

So its no longer simply monitoring the rotation speed of the wheel? I suppose they are recasting those wheels, but I wonder how this might impact aftermarket wheels?

Anyway, they would fit my early R56 ... and I like those wheels....
