Hello! Well, as some of you know, yesterday was my birthday...so I decided to get my MINI tinted! The tint was done by Spade Kreations and is a 20% tint all around. I think it looks awesome! I'm very happy with it.

And a heads-up, I know my MINI is filthy...I went on a 100+mile long drive with other MINI's through uneven roads, water, gravel roads, etc. and I haven't had time to clean it yet! The sad thing is I spent 2.5 hours the night before that washing and detailing the car....figures. Another thing to note. I also had a www.mini2.com sticker and two Cinci MINI's stickers on the back....but they had to take those off. Luckly, my NAM one is still there!

Oh, and in case someone didn't read my birthday thread, I'm waiting on tail light tint, blackout kit, and side reflector tint. I have the blackout kit, just have to put it on. The other's are in the mail.

Yes, legal tint in Ohio is 50%, but that didn't stop me!

20% is what I have but am thinking about stripping the back and having 5% limo done (they just did it to the back of my work truck and it stays so much cooler!!!) only on the boot window and the passenger sides.

oh and its only illegal if they pull you over and tell you to take it off!

And 02, my parent's just bought a used (from my cousin) Sony Cybershot. Nothing fancy. Before that I was using a fully manual Nikon F3 35mm, but that's not digital. I was just messing around with the new camera since I haven't learned much about it...

Cheap 5.1mp camera, nothing fancy. I want to buy a Rebel XT, but it's just too expensive....so oh well.

Beautiful MINI and the tint looks great! Just had 20% put on mine over the weekend, although bubbles developed and now have to take it back.

 

Nice... doubt that I could get away with 20% in New York State

WHere'd you get yours done? It's funny, I have 13% in my Mini and it looks lighter than your 20%. In looks lighter than the 20% I have on the car that I replaced the Mini with. Hmmmm, strange!

Sweet! A good tint job always turns the Mini Attitude meter up a couple of notches.

i had dark tint like that on one of my previous cars and was pulled over
all the time in IL... so i just yanked the tint off the front windows.

I will be in to pick it up when the dent and paint guy finish, someone vandalized my car at work , a few small dents and scratches with a ? key perhaps ... tell them to do a great job and call me when it is done

My Madness Header was loose and was ratllling too, maybe that was also related to the M7 USS and Miltek CatBack ? they tightened that , oh ..check engine light got reset (Good for a day or so )

Awesome birthday gift! We just got ours done this week too. But we did 30 in the front two and 5 in the back. I like to stay legal since they are sticklers around here! Congrats!

 

wow, i literally just got back from getting mine tented, too.... and your car looks so much like mine, it is scary. I also have an 03 indi blue MCS. Legal limit here is 35 for all of the side windows on cars, so I got 35 on the front two and 20 on the rear sides and back.

Oh well. I can't imagine they will pull me over because my rear windows are too dark. Just as long as they can see me. I'm also still waiting on my tailight tint.

Hey dazite, how bout a pic of that new tint? My DH is trying to talk me into doing exactly the same thing, but I just can't picture how it'd look with those 2 completely different tints...
