Pre-Dragon Meet?

Pre-Dragon Meet?
Hi Everyone,
I was just wondering if we could get together before the Dragon? See who is going, when, where everybody is staying....maybe coordinate a caravan up there...etc. See if anybody was interested in participating in an activity while there?
What about April 23? Does that sound like a good time? Maybe take a little drive and have dinner?
Let me know your views.

Barring disaster, I'd like to get in on it.

Sorry for failing to respond to this thread in a more timely fashion. As some of you know, I am a prosecutor and I am currently in the middle of a child molestation trial. I may also end up having a family conflict for this weekend, don't know for sure yet. Craig is probably the best source for a route. I am too tired to put much thought to it right now. I would think that the Mountain Cove area - Daugherty Gap, along with various routes that could include some climbs and descents up and down Lookout and Sand Mountains would be fun. Cloudland Canyon State Park is a neat place for a stop. Watching Hang Gliders off of Hwy 189 might also be a fun little short stop.
Larry's Restaraunt in Trenton, Georgia, is worthy of consideration if a dinner is part of the plan. Larry's is an all you can eat country buffet, and in my opinion, quite good. Larry's was recommended in a recent travel magazine.
I'll check back in later.

Len,
Sorry work has been so awful for you this week. I can imagine how something like that would be exhausting. I hope it ends very soon with good results.
As for those roads....I'm going to have to rely upon Craig's excellent knowledge of the back roads. I hope to hear from him soon.
If things clear up, I hope you can join us....it sounds like you could use a few RPM's and a twisty or two to clear out the cobwebs!!
Good luck.
