It would be legal for SM since you can remove the rear seats in SM.

Not that I care one way or the other, but while SM does allow you to remove the rear seats, the class is for cars that originally had at least four seats. The GP does not. Not the same thing.

I suppose the only real way to get an answer is probably to have someone enter SM in a GP at a major event, and then get protested. I doubt that will happen. I certainly wouldn't file a protest.

the GP can be looked in two ways. As a seperate model, or as a trim level of the Cooper S. As a trim level of the Cooper S, it starts as a four seater, with rear seat delete.

how is the GP different that the Mustang Cobra R, the car that really created the rear seat delete option in SM.

I registered the GP under BS. Should I change that to DSP per the GCR?

Thx!

Any updates on the GP class question, looking to do some auto-x. Also, I wanted to see what mods are legal, "unfortunately" I already put a H-Sport rear comp sway bar, ITG air filter, and Jan tune. I have a set of Hawk HPS Plus pads and resonator delete pipe.
