H Stock Alignment question
Alignment question
I was doing an alignment on my car the other day, I see that on the 08 R56 MC, there is a white plastic pin on the top hat, it limits the camber adjustment on the R56. If I remember correctly, I remember someone telling me that we are allowed to remove that plastic pin. but I thought I should post on here to clarify before I remove it.
thx Keith!!
i just did aligment
FT 1/16 toe out
RR 0 toe
camber FT 0.5(max camber will be better? i can get 1.0 in the FT) & RR 0.5(max)
and i notice there's LOTS of wheel spin.
i heard remove FT sway bar will reduce wheel spin...is that correct?
btw, i am using some old 205/50/15 710 & sport spring & sport R. sway bar

More front camber is better, max it out. the rear will be fine.
Yes wheel spin is an issue. You will need to re-calibrate your right foot. you need to roll on the throttle, not just mash it.
removing the front sway bar will reduce wheel spin, but it will also take away the biggest strength of the car, transitional response.
Other alternatives, lower the rebound in the front (allow ing the inside tire to drop faster, and increase compression damping on the front and rear (keeping the car flatter). Smaller front sway bar (if you an find one), also helps, without the drawbacks of no front bar.
See you this weekend.
