Just for the record, as long as you are in STX legal trim(ie wheels 8" or smaller, no cut fenders, no mods beyond STX) you can use the upgraded brakes in Street Prepared category. If you were to throw on a lightweight flywheel or any other mod allowed in DSP, you would not be able to use the STX legal brake kit. There is a written rule that STX legal trim cars can run in DSP with DOT approved race rubber.


So, your most important legal mods for DSP that you'd be limited to with larger brakes that would otherwise would be legal with stock brakes would be

245 width tire or smaller
8" wide or smaller rims
No cut fenders
