The run-flat ridge on the stock wheels makes them tough to mount. Find a shop with more experience mounting race tires.

Exactly what they had trouble with. They couldn't get the bead back out over the ridge.

So how important is heat cycling? This was the first set that I was going to try and heat cycle myself. However the trouble with mounting means that I'm not sure I'm going to get a chance before Sunday.

the biggest issue with the first runs on new tires, is the mold release. They are very slick until that is worn off the surface.

Worked great

Just wanted to say that the tires are mounted and worked great right out of the box. I took it easy on the first run to scuff the tires, and after that they were very good.
Took the class
