I am looking for tires and considering the Falken RT615 205/40/16 but want to use my stock R 83 16x6.5 wheels and wondered if anyone is using this combination and how they worked.

Beter then run flats, not as good as R compounds.

I have the Rt-215 215 x45x16 on my X-lites and love them. The tire you would use would have substantially smaller diameter. Your acceleration would be terriffic - on par with new gearbox but speedo would be way off. I think Andy ran these and said the speedo was at 77 when he was doing 70. Do the math.
