G-Stock, 2005 mini S with LSD: 106.8.
H-stock, 2003 mini cooper: 105.4.

2005 Mini S doesn't look all that fast to me.

Did they (HS and GS) run in the same conditions?

 

GS = Heat 1 (60's)
HS = Heat 2 (?)

3rd place Celica was on 60+ run Victoracers and Koni SA's.

It was also his first time in the car

 

IMHO the conditions did not change meaningfully between Heat 1 and 2. MAYBE 5 degrees of air temp between first run heat 1 and first run heat 2, but not between third run heat 1 and first run heat 2.

I'm pretty impressed with Mark's finish. Not only did he beat GS but be beat them pretty good.....Less HP and no Limited slip??? Granted, he's been driving this car for a while and it looks like they got a set of Kuhmo 710's for San Dieho but still, that's amazing.

Good job Mark if you're out there....

Hopefully we'll see you and Jeff at the Atwater events.
