Do you use a co-driver? I finally got to use slicks, now I"m struggling with tire temp, specifically the rear are basically cold every run, and there's lots of drifting in slaloms
I finally got into the top 10 raw times with 205 soft slicks, notice how patrice still beats me in his almost stock GTI

No I don’t use a co-driver. My A7’s I don’t really get up to temperature until my third run. Maybe my Frantz will get up to 125 on my second run but my readers don’t really get up past 115 on my last run. Are you using Autocross slicks or track slicks?
DS ran 1st heat in Lincoln last year. Mornings were chilly, light jacket chilly. I went out on my first run and spun on both days on the cold rear tires. After run 1 swapped the warm fronts to the back of the car. Kinda sucks as getting it done in three runs is hard enough, having the first run be a throwaway just makes it that much harder.
Currently the weather report looks... not great. Hope you get some clear, dry runs.

yeah I looked at the weather last night. Debating if it’s even worth going. As I don’t have rain Hoosiers.
