Solo Classing Quiz for Newbies
Classing Quiz for Newbies
Need to know where to class your MINI? The Solo Chair in my region put this little quiz together to help new folks figure it out.

You'll still need to check the rule book to figure out exactly where you fall, i.e. which stock category but this can help out.
Currently (2012 Rules), MINI models fall like this:
Not Eligible for Stock:
Cooper S JCW (2002-2005)
D Stock:
Clubman S
Clubman S JCW (2009-12)
Cooper S
Cooper S Coupe (2012)
Cooper S Coupe JCW (2012)
Cooper S JCW (2006-12)
H Stock:
Clubman (Non-S) (2008-12)
Cooper (Non-S) (2002-12)
Cooper Coupe (Non-S) (2012)
Street Touring FWD (STF)
Cooper (Non-S)
Street Touring Xtreme (STX)
Cooper S & Cooper S JCW
(incl. 2004-05 dealer-installed)
D Street Prepared (DSP)
Cooper S (+ JCW & JCW GP)
F Street Prepared (FSP)
Cooper (non-S) (2002-12)
Street Modified FWD (SMF)
All Models... except I suppose the Countryman All-4, but that hasnt been classed yet, and therefore technically isn't legal anyway.
X-Prepared (XP)
All Models. Go nuts.
So, if the classing quiz tells you Street Touring, and you drive a 2012 Cooper S, you'd be in STX.
