STX (Street Touring X) Linear Spring Size for MC/MCS suspension.
Linear Spring Size for MC/MCS suspension.
I am new to MC/MCS autocross.
I wanted to know what size springs are used on suspension kits with adjustable perches "Coilovers". I am asking cause i have like 6 sets of Eibach springs 2.5"ID 6,7" long ranging from 450 to 700 lbs/in left from my Integra and wondered if the mini took the same.
Cheers

For a first gen, 6" is the right length up front. I tried 7" and with my spring perch all the way down my ride height was basically stock height. That's with 350lbs/in springs.
700lbs/in is really, really stout for a McStrut. 450lbs/in should be very usable, though maybe a tad stiff if you are going to drive it on the street and they aren't pretty smooth.

Stock shock had a 4.25" stroke. The Megan that everyone complained about has only a 3" stroke. Which is what i believe was messing everyone up.. I have both the 03 shocks and after an accident the 05 front shocks. stroke is the same
Essentially 1. McPhearson strut up front, multilink in the rear but the damper and spring are located much like the struts up front.
