How many runs are you getting out of R comps?

Assuming that they are rotates properly and flipped on the rims to even out wear, how many runs/events are you getting out of a set of R comps and what brand are you using?

There are runs, and then there are competitive runs.
Hoosier RSO4's 60 runs no cords did a couple Pro's on them and ran on a bunch of concrete.
Avon's beat the crap out of them, 101 runs and finally they corded. 63 concrete runs.
V710's 67 runs, haven't flipped them yet 25 of them on concrete.
RS05's 21 runs never flipped or rotated, they still look good.

Tires life varies, It depends how bad you abuse them. After about 40 runs they are practice tires, I wouldn't take them to a major event.

It really varies alot depending on-

Which R compound tire. (some are soft some medium hard)
What air pressures.
What surfaces.
The weather and temperature (cold vs hot)
Length of course (long vs short- some are only 30 seconds)
The age of the tire (less often events-makes for older harder rubber)
Heat cycling- not always needed but usually good
Use of water spray to reduce temperatures
How you drive- your skill level
Your alignment (do you have enough negative camber).
How the tires are stored (UV and heat are bad)

Most of us can get about one season 6 to 12 events (4 runs per event) of good use out of a set of 4 tires but it does vary.

Much will depend on your level of competition. If you have to fight for every 10th of a second then your tires will be in prime condition about 6 to 8 events, maybe less then performance drops off.

Personally I use my Hoosier A6 or Kumho V710s only for strict competition and never for any other runs so if I have 4 runs x 10 events each lasting 30 seconds I get about 20 to 25 minutes of competition time out of each set of tires (includes the usual tricks of flipping and rotation).

To be fair since I usually have one event per month and sometimes less it's likely that my rubber is getting old and hard faster than I can do runs to wear out the tread. I never cord the tires but notice that the level of grip falls off and I'm loosing a second to the competition.

On a bone stock MC on 15" holeys:
Victoracers...9 Solo events and 2 "track days" before turning to grease
Avon Tech R.....10 events, 2 driving schools, & 1 track day...the set is still good being used by another MCS.

Stock MCS on 16" wheels:
Avon Tech RA....8 events with 2 drivers still has good grip. 4 more events before runoffs and tires should last..no wear on inside even with max allowable negative camber

Wear will depend on-
Your driving style and your expectations of how much peak performance you want.

There is probably a set number of events and heat cycles each tire can take under normal use and after that number is met then the tire won't be at it's prime no matter how wishful your thinking is.

Alex@tirerack.com says that the Kumho V710s are likely to give quite good performance for autocross or track but won't last at prime condition for very long. One or two track days and about 6 autocross events. As time goes on the tires do age and harden. Hoosier A6 is softer rubber than R6 and will likely last a little longer than the V710s, maybe 10 events at prime. Your results may vary.

The Avon Tech Ra don't come in many sizes and aren't quite as soft rubber as the Hoosiers or Kumhos. They might wear better but be not as fast.

On a stock class car you will be lucky to get 40 runs from a Hoosier A6 before they edge cord, especially if you can't control understeer.

the Kumho V710 will last over 100 runs, if you rotate front to back regularly.

Neither tire is in their prime after 30 or so runs, but that is most of a season for many people.
